These RumChata drinks take deliciousness to a whole new level! They’re perfect for holidays and festive occasions, or if you’re just craving an easy, decadent cocktail.
Whenever I see RumChata listed as a cocktail ingredient, I instantly get excited. As far as sweet liqueurs go, it’s by far my favorite and it pairs with SO many different mixers.
These recipes all feature RumChata as a primary ingredient and are filled with creamy, dreamy goodness.
They’re also extremely easy to make — I’m talking 4 ingredients or less! So they won’t add any extra stress to your plate whether it’s the holidays or you just want a simple tasty drink and you want it ASAP.
What is RumChata?
RumChata is a liqueur made with dark rum, cream, vanilla, and cinnamon.
It’s super sweet and often compared to Baileys Irish Cream, but the cinnamon really sets it apart and I think it’s even better than Baileys. Some even compare the taste to the milk leftover after eating Cinnamon Toast Crunch, and who doesn’t love that!?
The name is essentially a combination of the words Rum and Horchata, which is a traditional Mexican milk drink flavored with cinnamon, vanilla, and sugar. RumChata is intended to taste like a mixture of these two beverages, and boy does it deliver.
It’s made in Wisconsin of all places, but you can find it at any liquor store in the USA without issue.
As far as alcohol content and price, it has an ABV of 15% and is about $20 for a 750ml bottle, so it’s not very expensive as far as liqueurs go!

RumChataTini (Apple Cider Cocktail with RumChata)
If Fall walked up to a bar and ordered a drink, you can bet this is exactly what the bartender would whip up. Seriously, it doesn't get more autumnal than this.
All you need for this tasty drink is RumChata, brandy, and apple cider. Shake it all up, pour it in a martini glass, and garnish with a shake of cinnamon.
RumChata Coconut Snowflake Cocktail
I don't know if this cocktail makes me feel like I'm on a beach or in Santa's workshop, but I do know it's fa la la la fabulous.
This recipe calls for RumChata, peppermint schnapps, and coconut rum, so it's pretty much 100% booze. It'd be absolutely perfect for a Christmas party and is only three ingredients, so it wouldn't add any extra holiday stress to your plate!
Cinnamon Roll Cocktail
If you're looking for a hassle-free cocktail, this is pretty much as easy as it gets!

Black Widow RumChata White Russian
Just to mix it up, here's a RumChata drink that's less chestnuts-roasting-on-an-open-fire and more trick-or-treat.
It's almost identical to the other White Russian recipe on our list, but it uses activated charcoal to give it a Halloween-inspired hue.
Garnish with a marshmallow web to celebrate the spooky season in style!

RumChata was destined to end up in hot chocolate, and this recipe sounds oh-so tasty.
You just need four ingredients for this cup of bliss: RumChata, milk, chocolate chips, and vanilla extract.

This recipe proves once and for all that you can have your milkshake and drink it too!
Combing the flavors of RumChata and strawberry is super creative, and I'm sure it's incredibly delicious.

Winter White Rum Drink with RumChata
I dunno about you, but this cocktail definitely has me dreaming of a white Christmas!
This drink is made with RumChata, vanilla vodka, heavy cream, and Frangelico, which is a hazelnut flavored liqueur. Allllll the holiday spice flavors in one tasty coup.
RumChata Eggnog
This is one of my all time favorite drinks to make during the holidays, and it couldn't be more simple.
The only two required ingredients are eggnog and RumChata. The RumChata adds the BEST festive, spicy flavors to the eggnog and a little extra creaminess. For real, this recipe will give you a whole new appreciation for the nog.
Pumpkin Pie Hot Chata
If you're looking for a hot drink to get you through the winter, this looks sooooo good.
To make it, you put pumpkin purée, RumChata, half n' half, and pumpkin pie spice in a pan and stir until it's nice and toasty. Pumpkin Spice Lattes have nothing on this drink!
Rumchata Lemon Cake Cocktail
I never would've thought to pair RumChata with lemon, but I am ALL in.
The lemon flavor comes from Limoncello, and the only other ingredient is, of course, RumChata. The result is creamy, tart, sweet, and boozy cocktail that looks lovely in a martini glass!
Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cocktail
If I knew one day my favorite breakfast cereal would be drinkable and alcoholic, I might have believed in magic as a child.
Ingredients include RumChata, vanilla vodka, and Fireball Whiskey. Much like the Cinnomon Toast Crunch squares, I'm very sure this drink would drink itself if it could.
RumChata Salted Caramel Martini
This one is for my fellow caramel lovers! Nothing beats a drink that's both sweet and salty, and this would be a delish after-dinner dessert.
To make this cocktail, you dip the rim of a glass in caramel, followed by a mixture of sugar and salt. Then you drizzle some more caramel in the glass and pour in well-shaken salted caramel vodka and RumChata.
I think the salty/sweet rim on this one is necessary and would make it that much more delicious!
Snickerdoodle Cocktail
I'd take this drink over an actual snickerdoodle any day.
Ingredients are RumChata, Amaretto, Buttershots, and milk. The RumChata adds vanilla and cinnamon, Amaretto gives it depth and nuttiness, and Buttershots Butterscotch Schnapps gives it a rich butteriness. Truly all of the flavors you love in a snickerdoodle, but drinkable and boozy!
RumChata Root Beer Floats
I never knew RumChata could make me so nostalgic, but between this and the Cinnamon Toast Crunch, I feel like I'm reliving my 90s childhood in the best possible way.
Everyone loves a root beer float, and this is just as easy as the non-alcoholic version! You just pour root beer in a glass and then float the RumChata on top.
RumChata Iced Latte
Sometimes we need our drinks to work overtime by providing us with both booze and caffeine, and this cocktail does just that.
All you need is coffee, milk, and RumChata to make this recipe.
Speaking from experience, RumChata is way better than your average coffee creamer and it'll have you perked up in no time.
Valentine's Day RumChata Cocktail
If my valentine gave me this cocktail on February 14th, let's just say it would go over very well.
The recipe uses RumChata along with grenadine to give it a pretty pink color. From there, you can garnish with strawberries and candy to your heart's content!
Jelly Donut Shot
I don't think you're ready for this jelly! The only ingredients you need for this shot are RumChata and Chambord, which is a French raspberry liqueur, so I can see it tasting exactly like a jelly-filled donut.
It would be perfect for Christmas in all of its red and cream-colored glory, or for a brunch paired with french toast. Nommmmmm.
Orange RumChata Lassi
I'm a little obsessed with how creative and outside the box this recipe is!
If you're not familiar with Lassi, it's an Indian yogurt-based drink with spices that's cool and refreshing. I haven't ever come across a Lassi cocktail, so this is super innovative.
To make it, you combine RumChata, dark rum, cane syrup, plain yogurt, orange marmalade, and orange bitters in a shaker with ice. Then you just shake it up and pour it in a glass to get your probiotics and booze all at the same time!
Which of these RumChata drinks are you excited to try? Much like Pokemon, I wanna catch them all. But in my mouth.
Jokes aside, I plan on making a few of these over the holidays since we recently got a new bottle, but I’ll also enlist their help in keeping me warm all winter long.
