If you’re looking for a perfect shot for the fourth of July, you’ve come to the right place! From layered shooters to star-shaped jello shots, these red, white, and blue shots will help you celebrate America’s birthday in style!
There’s no better way to celebrate July 4th than with a tasty red, white, and blue shot!
Fireworks, cookouts, pool parties, the beach… however you like to celebrate America’s birthday, a fun and festive shot will always get the party going.
These shots are all red, white, and blue, but that’s where the similarities end. So there’s a good variety in terms of flavors and presentation, and I’m confident everyone can find the perfect shot for their needs in this roundup!
So with all that said, let’s check out some delicious and patriotic fourth of July shots!
This is a more decadent take on a July 4th shot that looks beyond tasty. To make it, slowly pour grenadine into a shot glass, followed by a mixture of Crown Royal Peach Whisky and Half & Half, and then top it off with blue curacao (like DeKuyper Blue Curacao Liqueur).
Add some whipped cream and red, white & blue sprinkles on top for a delicious, boozy July 4th treat!
The only thing better than a normal shot is without a doubt a jello shot!
This one doesn't even require shot glasses -- you can pick them up and eat them with your hands. And the star shape is so cute and clever!
To make them, you create a mosaic of red, white, and blue jello that's spiked with vodka, and then cut it into star shapes once the jello is firm. So even though it looks a little complicated, it's actually pretty easy to throw together!
Here's another unique take on a July 4th jello shot that doesn't require shot glasses! I love the idea of using strawberries as an edible shot glass, and these would be much lighter than your typical jello shot.
The main ingredients are strawberries, blue berry jello, plain gelatin, milk, and vodka. These should probably come with a warning since they're so small that it'd be easy to eat all of them in one sitting!
Pop Rocks are such a nostalgic candy for us 90s kids, and this recipe is beyond clever. It's made with plain, pineapple, and cake vodka along with strawberry jello and blue raspberry jello. So it's super boozy, fruity, and delicious!
The real star of this shot though is the Pop Rocks sprinkled on top, which will make it feel like fireworks are going off in your mouth!
And that’s a wrap! Which of these are you going to make for your July 4th celebration? I’m personally going to whip up a batch of the firecracker jello shots because I LOVE pop rocks and they just sound so fun, but they all look fabulous.
